Artist Bio - Brendan Burke

Brendan Burke first began writing and recording his own brand of folk-and-punk-infused indie rock in the summer of 2017, between his junior and senior years of high school. His debut single, Psychoactive, released in September of the same year. He cites solo acts such as John K. Samson and Frank Turner as well as bands like Frightened Rabbit and The Hold Steady as major influences on his style, though he enjoys creating an eclectic mix of music in a variety of conventional genres. He enjoys writing lyrics rich with figurative language that examine historical events and scenarios and convert the emotional responses of those times into something relatable, raw, and human.

Brendan currently lives and performs in Cleveland, Ohio, where he has been involved in the live music scene for nearly a decade. He has years of experience performing live and an extensive repertoire of both covers and original songs.
